There are two dates that Nicole Petersen Murr will not soon forget.
One is March 14, 2019. That was the day when she was diagnosed with HER2 triple positive invasive ductal carcinoma, an aggressive form of breast cancer.
The other is Oct. 28, 2020. That was the day when she got to ring the bell at City of Hope Newport Beach, indicating the completion of her cancer treatment. She’s been in remission for the last three months.
“Sometimes I’m stuck on, OK, when’s my youngest daughter’s birthday?” Petersen Murr said. “But I can remember those dates easier. It’s crazy.”
Israeli firm providing mobile ventilators to California
Agreement will make Inovytec’s lightweight Ventway Sparrow Turbine Ventilator available to Californians during and after Covid-19 pandemic.

Israeli medical device firm Inovytec has signed a deal to deliver 1,500 advanced portable ventilators to Global Medical Supply, a distributor that works with the state of California.
The Ventway Sparrow breathing machines will be used to aid patients with respiratory illnesses during the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.
“When looking for a partner that could quickly supply us with the quality ventilators we needed, Inovytec answered the call. Its lightweight and durable ventilators give patients the flexibility needed to be transported between wards or hospitals seamlessly,” said Edward Kim, a partner at Global Medical Supply.
