Body of missing college student found in Kentucky days after disappearance Nelson Oliveira
The search for a young woman who disappeared on her way to Eastern Kentucky University came to a heartbreaking end Thursday.
Lauren Reesor, 19, was found dead in a remote part of Central Kentucky following a multi-agency search for her whereabouts, authorities said. The college student was reported missing Tuesday after her car was found abandoned in Stamping Ground, just north of Lexington.
The cause of death is under investigation, but the Scott County Sheriff’s Office does not suspect foul play.
“Please join our office in offering condolences to the family of Ms. Reesor during this very difficult time,” the agency said in a Facebook post.

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) â The Scott County Sheriff s Department is investigating what they re calling a swatting incident. Someone tried to trick the police into thinking someone had been shot.
Monday night, Scott County Dispatch received a call. uhhh, I just shot my Mom, a male voice on the phone said. Where are you? a dispatcher asked.
Sheriff s deputies, EMT s and other emergency teams raced to Brant Court, treating the incident as an active shooting situation.
LEX 18 Why d you shoot your Mom? the dispatcher continued. She annoys me, she tried to hit me, the male voice answered.

These were the words of Randolph Bharatt, father of kidnap and murder victim Andrea Bharatt, as he addressed a crowd of hundreds gathered at Eddie Hart Grounds, Tacarigua on the evening of funeral.
Bharatt thanked those who came out and said he was overwhelmed by the numbers of people.
“I’m thankful to see all these people, I never expected to see all this, it is overwhelming. This is history in Trinidad and Tobago. And this is for Trinidad, and the world, this is the beginning.”
