It was unclear if the 41-year-old would land with another team, and then the Los Angeles Dodgers signed him to a one-year deal.  One week later, Pujols hit his first career home run with the Dodgers in a 3-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday. The Dominican native launched a pitch from Merrill Kelly into right field, giving the Dodgers a 2-0 lead in the second inning.
