COVID Cases Reported at Four Ridgefield Public Schools, Contact Tracing Completed Written by HH
Yesterday afternoon, Friday, January 29, Aaron Crook reported that the District learned that a member of the RHS, SRMS and RES communities has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was potentially infectious to others on Wednesday, January 27th, Thursday, January 28th and today. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.
In addition, the District learned that a member of the Ridgefield High School community has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was not in the RHS building during a period of time when they were potentially infectious to others. No contact tracing is needed.
Aaron Crook Reports COVID Cases at Veterans Park and Barlow Mountain Written by HH
Today, Aaron Crook reported that the District learned that a member of the Veterans Park Elementary school community has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was in the VPES building while potentially infectious to others on Monday, January 25th and Tuesday, January 26th.
Crook said, This individual has a known source of infection outside of the VPES building. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.
The District also learned today that three members of the Barlow Mountain Elementary School community have tested positive for COVID-19. These individuals have known exposures outside of the BMES building and have not been in the building during a time when they were potentially infectious to others. No contact tracing for these cases is needed, said Crook.
