Firm Tackles Sterling Bank, Edo University Over Breach of N481million Contract

A firm and contractor, Campus Alive Initiative Limited, has revealed how Sterling Bank, Asaba Branch, Delta State, and Edo State University, Iyamho, breached a N481million contract which binds them.
SaharaReporters learnt that the contract was to build a 150-room hostel on the campus, and was a joint agreement between the firm and Sterling Bank.
However, after the contract had been executed at N481,828,836.10, two other parties paid the firm N439,676,615.63, leaving a deficit of N42,152,220.47.

Edo State House of Assembly has amended the law establishing the Edo State University, Iyamoh, to reflect a new name for the university, located in the native home of the former National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
The Assembly, specifically amended Section Four of the Edo State University Law by replacing ‘Iyamoh’ in the principal law with ‘Uzairue’.
Tribune Online gathered that while Uzairue is the generic name for the Etsako clan, Iyamoh is a specific name of one of the villages under the bigger Uzairue Kingdom.
Acting on an Executive Request made to the legislative body, the Committee of the Whole House suspended rule 20 of the Assembly to enable it to consider the request and amend the principal law.

Nigerian Disc Jockey, Oke Adebowale Tony, also known as Dj 4kerty, has shared what motivates him to keep pushing to the top in the highly competitive Nigerian music industry.
The Lagos bred who hails from Osun State made this known in an interview, opening up on what motivates him, he said “Seeing my idols striving, hustling more to be at the top and also my mum. They motivate me to keep pushing,” said Dj 4kerty.
Recounting how he began his career, he said “I started as an apprentice under my boss back then at Ikorodu in 2013, it was not easy but the passion I have for music can’t let me stop I can’t sing but I can make you all dance till dawn when I’m on the turntable.
