DAA, the semi-state company which owns Dublin and Cork airports, is seeking an operator to provide bussing services from its public and staff car parks in a contract which could be worth an estimated €30m.
The company revealed it was seeking an operator for the bus services at Dublin Airport in a request for information published on the Government s public tendering website. It is understood that the contract for the current bussing service, which is operated by Aircoach, will come to an end this year.
There are three long-term car parks, Express Red, which is located closest to the terminals, Express Green, a seasonal one-to-two-week car park and Holiday Blue, which is DAA s value proposition car park. Each long-term car park offers a free shuttle bus service to and from the main terminals.
