Christina, a student at King’s, was sexually assaulted by a fellow student at his house.
She would have liked to report the incident to her uni, but only briefly considered it before deciding not to.
“I looked online and just decided it wasn’t worth it”, she told The Tab, after hearing stories of friends who’d gone through a traumatic reporting process only to have nothing happen.
Christina isn’t alone in deciding not to report her experience of sexual assault to her university.

A group of Exeter second year students have been left with severe damage to their student house following the detonation of Exeter’s World War Two bomb on Saturday night.
The house is located roughly 30 metres from the site where the bomb was found last Friday morning.
The students: Mathieu, Yves, Guillaume, Alessandro and Barnabe (@omeghouse), spoke to The Exeter Tab about their experience:
Mathieu told us: “We left on Friday at around 10am. A police officer came to tell us the bomb was 30 meters away from our house. We left without taking anything, but we came back during the afternoon as we heard the whole thing would last a couple of days.
Exeter students evacuated as far as Taunton after World War Two bomb found

Exeter Uni students have been evacuated from their halls and private homes after a suspected WW2 bomb was found yesterday morning.
Pictures from last night appear to show a large number of people gathered in the Forum without face masks or social distancing.
Some students have been evacuated to hotels in Taunton, whilst others have been sent to empty halls of residence in Exeter.
One student told The Tab Exeter she was evacuated from her Birks accommodation around midday yesterday, and told to take an overnight bag and valuables to the Great Hall.
According to Devon Live, the party reportedly took place at Lafrowda on Saturday night.
A video showed dozens of students gathered despite the ongoing lockdown and instructions from the university to avoid returning to Exeter if possible.
Due to lockdown, students along with everyone else should be staying at home except for exercise or essential shopping, and only meeting one person from another household for exercise.
An Exeter Uni spokesperson told Devon Live: “This is clearly totally unacceptable behaviour and we are investigating the incident further.
“The police were called and we will be working with them on the investigation with likely fines and sanctions.
