A pair of callous thieves have stolen a Wii console and an employee’s purse from the Pennine Pen Animal Rescue charity shop in Oldham.
The pair – believed to be a man and a woman – went into the Brackley Square shop on Egerton Street yesterday afternoon (Tuesday), and stole the items while Retail Assistant Susan Kilgannon had her back turned.
Susan told the Chronicle: “I’m just so angry and so upset.
“How could anyone be so heartless as to steal from a charity shop.
