The incident started out as a fight between two students at Eustis High School. When the officer approached, it went from 0 to 100 real quick. They got into a physical altercation which landed them on the ground. Once they got up & she tried to get away from the officer. He tased her.

EUSTIS, Fla. – The Lake County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was justified in using his Taser on a Eustis High School student while trying to break up a fight on Tuesday.
According to the incident report, Deputy Billy Brown, who was working as the school resource deputy for the freshman Courtright Campus, arrived at the cafeteria shortly before noon on Tuesday to find a girl chasing a boy around a table.
News 6 is not naming the student who was involved in this incident at this time.

A school resource officer used a Taser on a female student who cops say was involved in a fight with another student, and severely resisted when the officer got involved.
According to the police report . the cop approached the girl as she was going after a male student in the cafeteria of Eustis High School in Central Florida. The cop says he tried to stop her, but she attacked him by punching him several times in the head.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said Master Deputy Billy Brown was attempting to break up a fight between two students in the cafeteria at lunchtime at Eustis High School 9th Grade Center. According to law enforcement, when the deputy tried to break up the fight the 15-year-old girl turned her aggression toward him. This deputy was struck over 18 times total between being on the floor and when he was standing up, said sheriff spokesman Sgt. Fred Jones.Jones said the deputy was trying to calm the girl down before ultimately using his taser. She comes back toward him in an aggressive manner like she’s going for the student she’s trying to get or coming at him. And that’s when he deployed his taser, said Jones.
