Cobra Kai Season 3 was a great way to kick off the new year and, as you would expect, fans are already craving another season. While it will likely be awhile before we see the further adventures of Daniel LaRusso, Johnny Lawrence and their karate students, we now know Season 4 has officially kicked off production. And with that major announcement, comes another bit of news, as Netflix has confirmed the show is adding two new cast members.

Cobra Kai Season 4 has added Dallas Dupree Young and Oona OâBrien in recurring roles. According to Variety, Young will play Kenny, a bullied kid who seeks out karate in an attempt to learn self-defense. Meanwhile, OâBrien will play a different kind of role through the character of Devon. The character is described as a potential karate student who is both studious and competitive but she also possesses a pretty quick temper.

The episode is written by co-creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg.
But that s not the only news on the horizon for fans as it turns out the series will be adding to its numbers. Actors Peyton List (who plays Tory Nichols) and Vanessa Rubio (who plays Miguel s mother Carmen Diaz) have been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming fourth season, with both of them returning in apparently larger roles this time around.
Also joining the series as recurring characters will be Dallas Dupree Young and Oona O Brien. Variety reports that Young will play Kenny, a new kid who turns to karate as a form of self-defense against the bullies in his school; and O Brien will step into the role of Devon, a potential new karate student who is relentlessly competitive and a quick study, as well as being equally quick-tempered when provoked.

Feb. 27 (UPI) Netflix has announced that filming is underway on Season 4 of its martial-arts dramedy,
Cobra Kai.
The streaming service posted on Twitter a photo of a script for the first episode called Let s Begin on Friday.

After recurring on Cobra Kai, Vanessa Rubio and Peyton List have been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming Season 4 of the popular Netflix series starring Ralph Macchio and William Zabka. Additionally, Dallas Dupree Young (Cousins for Life) and newcomer Oona O’Brien have been tapped for recurring roles on the fourth season of the Karate Kid sequel series.
Rubio has portrayed Carmen Diaz since Season 1, appearing in 16 episodes. Carmen is Miguel’s (Xolo Maridueña) hard-working mother who would do anything to protect her son.
List has played Tory Nichols, since Season 2, appearing in 15 episodes. Tory is a vtroubled teen who speaks her mind and is willing to take on anyone in a fight.
