Companies abusing wage subsidy will be blacklisted

STERN action, including blacklisting, will be taken against companies and employers who abuse the Wage Subsidy Programme.Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M Saravanan (picture) said this is following the complaints received against employers who fail to pay the wage subsidy to their employees.He said apart from blacklisting, employers found to be using fake documents to apply for the programme would also be brought to court.

Taoiseach Meeting With Shannon Aer Lingus Staff Today

It’s understood Micheal Martin is to conduct a video call with four nominated members of staff at around 3.30pm today. It’s in response to fresh concerns about the future of workers in the Midwest following the airline’s decision to permanently close its Shannon base.
