Roads Being Fixed Since 2017 — Minister

The Minister of Roads and Highways, Mr Kwesi Amoako-Atta, has said that the call on the government to fix roads in the country are belated, maintaining that the fixing of  roads in Ghana started as far back as 2017. “Those who are calling on us specifically to fix the roads are to be updated, and they must be reminded that they are late. We started fixing the roads from January 2017, and a lot has been done. So, we have gone far, they are behind. They should run to catch up with us because we re miles and miles apart,” he said. The minister indicated that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo reached “unprecedented” limits with regard to roads development in the country in his first term.
