Mangaluru: Tenant forges property documents to self, martyred CRPF s widow seeks justice   Wed, Jan 27 2021 07:31:06 PM Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru Mangaluru, Jan 27: After it was found that a person illegally swindled property of a widow of a martyred Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier, various like-minded associations and youth associations have joined together to bring the widow to justice. Vasanthi Uday is the widowed wife of Uday Kumar, who served for 51st CRPF and was martyred at Chhattisgarh on August 6, 2006. With the ex-gratia received, Vasanthi had built a house after the death of her spouse, in which she lives with her two sons. However, due to her health conditions, she could not secure herself a government job on compassionate grounds, and therefore, had rented out one part of the house. She suffers from hyperthyroidism and is somehow making her livelihood from the rental income and compensation.

The officials should create awareness about the Act and take stringent measures to prevent its violation,” said minister for animal husbandry, Haj & Wakf Prabhu Chauhan. The minister addressed two of the progress review meetings of animal husbandry, Haj and Wakf department held at both Mangaluru and Udupi deputy commissioner s office on Tuesday, January 19. Speaking at the meeting, the minister informed that state government has proposed to have two goshalas in each taluk across the state to protect cattle from slaughter.

Uday Kumar, a lorry driver from Tatapudi, Ravulapalem mandal, East Godavari district, lost Rs 34,400 near Nathavalasa sand check post in Denkada zone, Vizianagaram district . Uday Kumar stopped his lorry at Poosapatirega petrol bank and later went to Anandapuram of Visakhapatnam to meet his son in an auto. The lorry driver changed his auto near Natavalasa checkpost and during the course of time, money fell on the road. Unnoticed lorry driver went away.
