ADELAIDE: India skipper Virat Kohli on Wednesday revealed his favourite knock is the one he played against Australia in the 2016 T20 World Cup and revealed he had gone into a trance while chasing down Australia s score at the PCA Stadium in Mohali.
Kohli had smashed an unbeaten 82 off just 51 balls. The batsman s effort saw the team win the game and qualify for the semi-final against the West Indies.

Kohli said he didn t know how it happened as at one stage India needed 67 runs in the last six overs and a win from there looked like a distant dream. However, Kohli had different plans and the right-handed batsman bludgeoned the Australian bowling attack smashing nine fours and two sixes.

Usman Khawaja is out of favour with Australian selectors.
Khawajaâs name has been floated in some quarters as a quick fix to solve Australiaâs opening conundrum for the first Test against India.
With David Warner (groin) and Will Pucovski (concussion) unavailable and Joe Burns sorely out of form, the opening combination for the day-night clash remains unclear.
Khawaja, 33, has opened the batting in five Tests, scoring 484 runs at an average of 96 with two centuries â including a superb 145 against South Africa in a pink-ball Test at Adelaide Oval in 2016.
Simon Katich believes the classy left-hander, who averages 40.66 from 44 Tests and 52.97 from 24 Tests in Australia, should have come into selection calculations.

Former Australian cricketer Bryce McGain has revealed his left-field choice to open the batting for Australia in the first Test against India.
âIâve been calling a bit of the Sheffield Shield and Iâve called every ball WA have played. Thereâs a fellow whoâs been opening the batting for them called Sam Whiteman,â McGain told
SEN Mornings.
âIn his last six Shield games heâs scored 550 runs. Heâs notched tree 100s and three 50s. Thatâs where Iâd be looking.
âThey havenât looked there (Western Australia) for whatever reason. I know theyâve spoken about Usman Khawaja as a potential opener, maybe we could put (Marnus) Labuschagne up, maybe Matthew Wade could open the batting.
