New Amphitheater Coming to Montrose
Just the thought of live events, music, and theater sounds fantastic after being asked to socially distance from others for nearly a year due to the pandemic. This is why the news that Montrose is getting a new amphitheater is so exciting.
While there are still many details to come it is very exciting to hear from KKCO that this new amphitheater has actually been in the works for years, and at the last city council meeting there was a decision made on who would become the contractor for the project.
The company that got the job is Stryker and Company Construction which is based in Montrose, which is always nice to see.

I m sure I wasn t the only person who was a little shocked over the weekend to hear that Spin City will be closing down for good later on this month. It was a post made on their own Facebook page and detailed the information regarding their closure and stated their last day in operation would be Saturday, February 20th.
I ll be honest, this is a bummer, as we had a staff party there just last year and it was a lot of fun bowling playing games, and eating pizza. But after 7 1/2 years in business, the owner of the building had sold and it will soon be the location of the new All-Terrain Motorsports we mentioned to you last month that will be 47,000 square feet large.

While driving around I always try to keep an eye out for new businesses or signs that pop up. It s always fun to see a new business open especially locally owned small businesses like the three I have noticed lately.
The first one that was right in front of me because I drive past it every day to and from work was just off I-70 Business Loop at 30 Road where you will now find Heirloom Estate Sales LLC. As you can see from the pictures they advertise themselves as a local market, so you will be able to find a variety of treasures when inside the store.
