Modest Mouse announce new album The Golden Casket
Modest Mouse will release their seventh record on June 25th via Epic.
Modest Mouse have confirmed the details of their first new album in six years, The Golden Casket.
Recorded between the band’s own studio in Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles with producers Dave Sardy and Jacknife Lee, it’s being previewed now with We Are Between, one of twelve tracks those sessions crafted.
This follows the 2015 LP Strangers To Ourselves, whose Lampshades On Fire single was a part of Live4ever’s Best Of… series at the end of that year, and more immediately the standalone single Poison The Well / I’m Still Here which was released for Record Store Day in 2019.

Modest Mouse will issue a new album entitled
The Golden Casket via Epic Records on June 25. The band previewed their first new album with the release of lead single “We Are Between.”
The long-awaited follow-up to 2015’s
Strangers To Ourselves was produced by Dave Sardy and Jacknife Lee. Modest Mouse recorded the 12-track LP at their studio in Portland, Oregon and in Los Angeles.
