Tribunal rejects KRA bid to collect Sh582m from Danish tycoon Thursday December 10 2020 By JOSEPH WANGUI Summary Nielsen, a tycoon in tourism and hospitality business, was selected for audit after it emerged that he was solely in charge of the operations of his company. The taxman alleged willful neglect, evasion or fraud on the part of Mr Nielsen after he filed his 2008, 2009 and 2010 self-assessment returns on a nil basis. The businessman maintained that he did not receive any business income or employment income in Kenya during the three years.
