Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar has ordered an investigation on the alleged killing of a man who was mistaken for a drug suspect during a buy-bust operation here last June 29. “I understand that there is already a motu proprio investigation on this, but with this allegation, I have already tasked the Internal Affairs Service to look into this new information so we can be enlightened,” Eleazar said in a statement released by the PNP. The man, Karl Daniel Bolante, was allegedly killed by elements of the Police Station 1 and the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) last June 29 in Barangay North Baluarte in Molo District.
