During its ongoing Ignite 2021 event, Microsoft has taken the wraps off a number of announcements, ranging from security to identity solutions which are either in preview or generally available. The Redmond giant also took the time to highlight some compliance enhancements and brand-new certifications it has made available.
Starting with compliance, data loss prevention (DLP) is now supported for Chrome browsers and on-prem server-based environments such as file shares or SharePoint Server 2010, 2013, or 2016. Allowing for the extension of DLP policies across environments to identify and prevent accidental sharing of sensitive data, the capability is now in preview.
