Little League March 16, 2021 Little League® International remembers Eduard Rapuano, Sr., a Little League East Region volunteer and umpire for 50 years, who officiated games in the 1990 Little League Baseball® World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He was 83. In 1988 and 1989, Mr. Rapuano umpired in the Senior League Baseball World Series played in Kalamazoo, Michigan. One year later (1990), he was selected to officiate the Little League Baseball World Series. Locally, he also held several different positions with Annex YMA Little League, in New Haven, Connecticut, including time as League President. Mr. Rapuano, a native of New Haven, resided in East Haven at the time of his passing. He was employed by G.L. Gray Metal Fabrication for many years before assuming the positions of accountant and bookkeeper with the Credit Bureau of Connecticut, retiring in 2000.
