Konami Registers Trademarks for Metal Gear Rising and Castlevania

At first glance we would assume that this is just the publisher renewing its properties. After all, the two trademarks have little to do with one another but it s got people talking regardless.
The Metal Gear Rising trademark is of particular interest given the sudden appearance of those Metal Gear-related tweets, but thinking they re connected is probably a bit of a stretch.
Speaking of Metal Gear Rising, we wrote a soapbox back in February about how Konami should totally remaster it. If this really does happen, then you all owe us one.
