(Submitted by Garth Wintle to CKDR) No details are known on a large fire on the west side of Dryden City limits. The blaze ignited late Sunday afternoon in the area of the PRT Tree Nursery. Multiple fire crews were on scene for several hours including the Dryden Fire Service, Oxdrift Fire and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. The Ministry also provided air support. The blaze left behind a large path of charred land, though the exact extent of the damage isn’t known.
