Tonight saw the launch of the
Falcon And The Winter Soldier finale on Disney+, but while the episode brought the six-episode miniseries to an end, whatâs particularly interesting about what happens from a Marvel Cinematic Universe standpoint is where it leaves all of the characters for the future. A lot goes down in the span of 45 minutes, and heroes and villains like Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, Sharon Carter, John Walker, and Helmut Zemo are left facing interesting prospects and consequences from their respective positions.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 6 further pushes Karli into villainous territory as she discusses the hostage plan with her Flag Smasher buddies. The original plan was to only use them as a bargaining chip to negotiate and put an end to the Patch Act. But Karli is now showing a bloodier streak. She s ready to kill the GRC officials and herself die for the cause if it comes to that Karli has gone full martyr. This isn t sitting well with the rest of the Flag Smashers, but they reluctantly agree to go along with that.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier review: Sam Wilson’s (Anthony Mackie) journey to becoming Captain America was a tad too predictable, while Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) barely had an arc. It also failed Zemo (Daniel Brühl) and the Flag Smashers. It was at its best in tiny moments, be it a brutal murder, or Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ cameo.
