It s part of a general expansion of information materials on the centres to include a new minisite and newsletter later this year. Our reference centres help to promote strong, sustainable National Societies, IFRC Secretary General Jagan Chapagain says in a foreword to the full catalogue on the centres that s quoted in the video.

Advertisement Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) yesterday unveiled the road safety strategy that seeks to reduce accidents and traffic fatalities in Kampala by 50 per cent by 2030.  The strategy is in line with the country’s commitment to the second United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030 with support from the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRIS). While launching the strategy, the Kampala Initiative Coordinator for BIGRIS, Ms Jemima Nalumansi, said the road strategy aims to achieve safety for all road users.

Road accident free Delhi: Kejriwal Government s new initiative to make Delhi roads accident free

Highlights To ensure road safety in the capital, the Delhi government signed an MoU with the prestigious Bloomberg Philanthropy. The Kejriwal government had taken a comprehensive step towards green mobility through the Delhi Electrical Vehicles Policy (EV Policy). In the 2020-2025 phase of this initiative, Delhi has joined the list of 30 cities of the world through this campaign launched by Bloomberg Philanthropy for Global Road Safety. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi government is working towards making the roads of the national capital accident-free. The Kejriwal government has signed an MoU with the prestigious Bloomberg Philanthropy.
