Netflix is due to add at least 90 titles in May, including the much-delayed Amy Adams thriller “The Woman in the Window.”
Starring Adams as an agoraphobic psychologist, “The Woman in the Window” was supposed to have a theatrical release in May 2020, but was sold to Netflix for distribution due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film will premiere on the platform on May 14.
Another movie joining the platform in May is “Monster,” an adaptation of a book about a Harlem honors student whose life suddenly changes when he’s charged with felony murder. The film first debuted at Sundance Film Festival in 2018, but Netflix acquired distribution rights in 2020.

Damon Herriman
Familiar to both international and local Aussie audiences, South Australian-born actor Damon Herriman provides the voice of Kabal.
A character first introduced in the “Mortal Kombat 3” game, Kabal sports long black hair, Hookswords, superhuman speed, and a respirator.
Herriman’s long list of credits include ’90s comedy “The Big Steal”, co-starring alongside Ben Mendelsohn, Foxtel’s “Love My Way”, U.S hit “Justified”, and “Mindhunter” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, playing Charles Manson in both of those. He also recently lent his lungs to “Peter Rabbit 2”, voicing Tom Kitten.

In a rare week where no single program exceeded the 1 billion minute threshold, mystery police procedural “Criminal Minds,” a recurring top performer in Nielsen’s regular Weekly Top 10 list, towered over all other programs available on subscription-based streaming platforms with 0.98 million viewing minutes for Jan. 25 through the end of the month. The CBS cult-classic also ended up in the number one slot on Nielsen’s Weekly Top 10 Acquired Content.
