The spring 2019 Amazon Prime adaptation of
Good Omen from Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett landed well and largely pleased fans when it came out. What’s unexpected is that the project has gotten a second season renewal from the streaming service with it set to bring back the main creative and begin filming in Scotland later this year. According to Deadline, “The new season will explore storylines that go beyond the original source material; having been on Earth since The Beginning and with the Apocalypse thwarted, Aziraphale and Crowley are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho when an unexpected messenger presents a surprising mystery.”
