Frustrations peak with rolling blackout plan as AEP points the finger towards ERCOT

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â Frustrations are mounting not just across the Coastal Bend, but the entire state. People want answers as to why their electricity hasnât come back on and why they fall into an area that is a part of the rolling blackout. AEP said initially they were instructed to conduct rolling blackouts to manage the supply and demand of energy.
An Annaville man said his home has been without power for three days. It comes on for a few hours and then off again much longer.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Winter storm warnings remain in effect for most until tomorrow morning for western counties and until Noon for the rest of East Texas. More snow/sleet/freezing rain through this evening. only over southern areas on Thursday.
There are chances for snow, mixed with sleet/freezing rain over the northern half of East Texas, generally north of HWY 79 through this evening, then only the Southern sections of East Texas could see freezing rain/sleet on Thursday.
As Houston and the entire state of Texas is reeling from a combination of frigid Arctic air, failing energy infrastructure and water pressure issues, there is a rather warm light at the end of what has felt like an extremely long tunnel. The Houston area faces another couple nights of temperatures below freezing.
