The bar can deliver Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio within a “huge, dynamic soundstage” rivalling systems “twice its size,” according to the California-based manufacturers. The cabinet-top unit is two inches high and 26 inches wide and built with a minimalist industrial design with brushed aluminum finishes. “Like all Definitive Technology products, the Studio Series sound bars are well known for their huge, dynamic sound and modern design. Definitive Technology unveils its first soundbar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support

Set to ship next month, the 4.1-channel Studio 3D Mini marks the first Definitive Technology soundbar to support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Measuring just 26 inches wide and two inches high, the Studio 3D Mini will also be the company’s smallest soundbar, with the Studio Advance and Slim each twice as wide. Besides its main soundbar unit, the new soundbar also comes with a compact 8-inch wireless subwoofer. While the Studio 3D Mini may be small, its $899 price tag is anything but. That said, the soundbar’s premium price point is in line with Definitive Technology’s $1,500 Studio AdvanceRemove non-product link and $1,000 Studio Slim soundbars (although both are steeply discounted for the holidays).
