La Fondation Dassault Systèmes, a foundation dedicated to transforming the future of education and research with the learning and discovery capabilities of 3D technology and virtual universes, today announced it supported the nonprofit Digital Transformation Alliance on the creation and launch of InnoTechLab, the first high-tech innovation center for technology, industrialization and education in Cameroon. The aim of InnoTechLab is to instill an inclusive and sustainable transformation of African society based on an industrial, technological and digital revolution. This can be achieved by fostering greater access to, understanding of, and experimentation with 3D digital technologies among young students, teachers, researchers, and their ecosystem.

(MENAFN - Gulf Times) A recently launched initiative by Qatar Foundation (QF) to identify and support the needs of bright, young students in Qatar, is set to transform the learning process in a big way in the country.
‘Gifted Enrichment Programmes, supported by Johns Hopkins Centre for Talented Youth (CTY) offers online enrichment courses, developed and delivered by CTY instructors to identify gifted learners in Qatar Foundation schools. Currently 260 students are identified as academically gifted in Qatar Foundation Schools. This is approximately 6% of the total school population for grades K-12. Approximately 75% of identified gifted students in QF Schools are Qataris, said, Cynthia Bolton, head of Gifted Education, Pre- University Education, Academic Affairs.
