The director at two funeral homes in the region said on Wednesday that she plans to defend herself against allegations that were part of immediate licence suspensions last month.
The Bereavement Authority of Ontario had ordered the licence suspensions of funeral director Bonnie Parker, Parker Funeral Home Ltd. in Morrisburg, and at McArthur Bros. & MacNeil Funeral Home and Chapel in Cornwall.

Parker told the Standard-Freeholder she has obtained legal representation, and will be “fully defending any claims (being made by the BAO) or anyone who is making claims.”
