ConserV Bioscience Limited (CBL) and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) have agreed to collaborate on the development of a broad-spectrum or “universal” coronavirus vaccine. This collaboration brings together CBL’s expertise in identifying antigens and LLNL’s nanolipoprotein delivery system. DOST commends rice institute for high number of scientists

  In the recent oath-taking ceremony of newly conferred and upgraded scientists, DOST Secretary Dr. Fortunato T. Dela Peña commends PhilRice after three of its experts landed in this year’s ranking.   “[With 12 scientists nine Scientist I and three Scientist II], PhilRice has the highest number of active career scientists. I appreciate the newly conferred and upgraded scientists for their dedication and significant contributions to research in their respective areas of expertise,” he said.   Dr. Aurora M. Corales and Dr. Elmer G. Bautista were conferred the Scientist I rank, while Dr. Norvie L. Manigbas was upgraded to Scientist II rank by the Scientific Career Council.
