A former Catholic high school for girls is being recognized by Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board.
The English Catholic board is based at the former Mount St. Joseph College. The Mount opened in 1959 and closed in 2006 due to declining enrolment.

The Ontario Avenue site operated under two names – Catholic Education Centre where board employees worked and Mount St. Joseph Centre for the school proper.
Trustees agreed to call the property the Mount St. Joseph Catholic Education Centre at a meeting Wednesday evening.
