JUST IN: Reins Mika is 1st Filipina winner of Elite Model Look Digital Creator Award

Manila’s Reins Mika has just won the 37th Elite Model Look (EML) World Digital Creator Award, the first Filipina to be given the recognition.
The Filipino-Chinese model was announced on January 31, 2021 (February 1 Philippine Time), as one of the four winners in the world final of the first digital edition of the worldwide competition for models.
Elite named the world finalist from the Philippines as the female winner in the Digital Creator category after winning the public vote and jury deliberation, besting competitors from Italy and the United States. Mika’s win comes with a top talent contract with one of the Elite World Group agencies.

Elite Model Look is once again on the lookout for the world’s next supermodel. And one of the luckiest models currently vying for a chance in winning a global management contract with Elite is Filipina-Chinese looker Reins Mika.
The global competition that has produced world-renown models like Alessandra Ambrosio, Gisele Bündchen, Cindy Crawford, Fernanda Tavares, and Helena Christensen is back for its 37th year, giving young models the opportunity to be put on its much-coveted spotlight.
The 21-year-old Mika is competing under the Digital Creators category. “I’m super excited to announce that I’ve been chosen to represent the Philippines as a finalist in the 2020 Elite Model Look World Final Competition to compete for a top contract with the Elite World Group,” shared the model on her Instagram post. “I can’t wait to show the world my passion for modeling, writing, and the arts!”
