American’s “elite choice rewards” were first teased when the carrier reduced elite-qualifying criteria for the 2021 program year. Rick Elieson, the president of AAdvantage, promised that top-tier Executive Platinum members could earn five systemwide upgrades, but stopped short of revealing additional tidbits about the new program.
