Cosgrove to build NITDA s Digital Centre

According to a statement, Mr Abdullahi gave the assurance at the ground-breaking ceremony of the centre in Abuja recently. He said the twin towers of seven and eight stories respectively will be fully automated, adding that the public sector project will bear Cosgrove’s signature of incorporating technology in infrastructure development. “I wish to reiterate that Cosgrove will bring to bear on the project, the organization’s core competence which is integrating technology into construction,” he said. The Cosgrove Chief Executive also shared the features of the Centre’s structure with dignitaries at the event. Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) said the construction of Centre became necessary in view of the commitment of the federal government to fast-track digital entrepreneurship and job creation in the country.

Punch Newspapers Sections Armstrong Bakam, Bauchi A 20-year-old man in Bauchi State has been arrested by the police for allegedly cutting off the private parts of a six-year-old child for ritual purposes. The Police Public Relations Officer, Bauchi State Command, Ahmed Wakil, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists on Friday. He said when the police received the complaint by the aunt of the victim, they swung into action and arrested the suspect while his accomplice was still at large. Wakil added that when the police rushed the victim to the hospital, a medical doctor confirmed that her private parts had been tampered with.
