Helen DeVos Children s Hospital patients designed cupcakes with proceeds going to the hospital s annual Radiothon.
Six patients designed their own cupcake which The Salted Cupcake took and turned into reality.
The cupcakes are $4 a piece with $1 going back to the 21st Radiothon fundraiser.
Eight-year-old Queen Hardy designed a chocolate and vanilla cupcake with rainbow sprinkles and edible glitter.
She is fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

How Sweet It Is!
Pandemic or no pandemic, illness or no illness, patients at Helen DeVos Children s Hospital are celebrating in a very sweet way with cupcakes!
Patients at Helen DeVos Children s Hospital have designed cupcakes, and they re now baked and on sale at The Salted Cupcake in Kentwood. They re only $4 each with $1 from each cupcake sold going the the Helen DeVos Children s Hospital.
It actually was a competition and six designs were selected from all the submissions as the winners.
Fox 17 reported that the Salted Cupcake owner, Korina Thompson said, It’s a lot of fun. We don’t usually work with food coloring that much, so just to be able to make these really cool creations is a lot of fun for everyone in the kitchen and the customers to see.
