Letter to the Editor 17 April 2021: Reply to Kerry Eikenskold s letter of April 11, 2021 Mark Rosenthal The author of the “rebuttal” claims to want to “become enlightened and treat everyone with love and respect,” yet calls the Torah “horrendous and morally bankrupt” and later “old barbaric campfire tales from an ancient and ignorant desert people.” Aside from the rabid anti Semitic and antisocial comments, plus the obvious hatred for anyone who doesn’t share the writer’s “sacrilege against scripture” ideals, their lack of knowledge about the basics of the Christian or Jewish religions ignores the fact that the Torah (the Christian Old Testament) clearly states the basic rule for accepting and getting along with everyone of every faith and lifestyle.
