Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], June 13 (ANI): As many as four people including two constables of armed police posted at Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand, have been arrested by the Kichha police of Udham Singh Nagar with 8,008 kg of charas.
The children were rescued by the state police s anti- human trafficking cell from streets, market places, railway stations and religious places during a fortnight long drive conducted in Dehradun, Nainital, Udhamsingh Nagar and Haridwar districts, officials said.
The fraudsters duped people using an online app called, ‘Power Bank , which was available on Google Play Store till May 12, the officer said, adding, it offered lucrative returns on investment through different schemes.
Uttarakhand Police has busted an online scam with foreign links, in which five lakh people from across the country lost a combined Rs 350 crore, officials said on Thursday, adding a man was arrested from Noida in this connection.
