(WTVF) — Maurice Conner s devotion to Lipscomb University started decades ago. His love for the university first started as a student. He graduated from there with a bachelor of arts degree in 1981. He then went on to earn his masters of arts degree from the university in Bible. For the last nearly 40 years, he was a security officer for the school. He mostly worked the third shift. He was physically a very large man. He was like 6 ft 9 it felt like, said Kyle Dickerson, executive director of Lipscomb’s Department of Security, he was this gentle spirit that loved people and wanted to be in constant community with people.
