DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 16th Dec, 2020) The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) held a virtual media briefing today on the launch of the UAE Environmental Policy, approved by the UAECabinet in late November.
The policy aims to enhance the quality of life, support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), promote economic diversity and prosperity, and preserve ecosystems and ecological goods and services.

According to data from our Civil Unrest Index Projections, 75 countries will likely experience an increase in protests by late 2022. Of these, 34–predominantly in Europe and the Americas – will likely see a particularly significant deterioration–defined as a projected decrease of 0.5 or more on our Civil Unrest Index score.
