Popular Auckland fine dining restaurant Sidart has changed hands under an ownership structure rarely used within the hospitality industry. When serial restaurateurs Sid and Chand Sahrawat started Ponsonby-based Sidart in 2009, they did so with more than $300,000 of a silent investor s money. Now some 12 years later, the pair are paying forward the kind deed with the same restaurant, helping one of their head chefs get on the business ownership ladder.

For over 45 years Madhur Jaffrey has been revered around the world as the queen of Indian cooking. She arrived in London to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and her career would continue to span huge success across both food and acting. Her first book,
An Invitation to Indian Cookery, was published in 1973 and her series for BBC television

Legends announced at the 10th ever F.A.W.C! Summer Series
