Easton Area School Board approves tax breaks for these 13 properties Updated 7:43 AM; Facebook Share The Easton Area School Board agreed not to levy real estate taxes on 13 Easton properties next year and gradually collect taxes until they finally collect full taxes on the properties in 10 years. This isn’t some “tax scam” but a well-reasoned decision to spur redevelopment in the city, according to Easton Mayor Sal Panto Jr. “In the suburbs you grow by building out. In the city you grow by rebuilding and adaptive reuse of existing structures,” Panto told the school board Tuesday. You can hear his comments on the meeting video on YouTube.

Silver Alert issued for missing Grandview man © KMBC howard vincent A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Grandview man. Howard Vincent, 79, was last seen Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the 12000 block of Food Lane in Grandview. Grandview police said Vincent got into his vehicle and left his brother s home without saying anything.Sign up for our Newsletters He has been diagnosed with dementia, police said. Vincent was wearing a brown ball cap, checkered shirt and brown pants. He was driving a red 2005 Ford F-150 with Missouri license plate 2PD-B99. Anyone seeing the Howard is asked to call 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Grandview Police Department at 816-316-4980.
