Police: Motorcyclist killed in Enfield accident

ENFIELD A local man died from injuries sustained in an accident Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 3:15 p.m. to a reported crash involving a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of Route 5 Enfield Street and University Place, police said.
The driver of the motorcycle identified by police as 23-year-old Enfield resident Christopher Panatsas was taken to Baystate Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 54-year-old man from Feeding Hills, Mass. There was no indication he was injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
