– Big E. is selling off his WrestleMania 37 gear for a good cause. The WWE star spoke with WFLA and revealed that he’s auctioning the gear he wore for his match with Apollo Crews to benefit Feeding Tampa Bay.
E. noted, “I think for me, it was really learning about just the toll that pandemic had taken on so many families. I think I watched this TBS Sunday morning piece on food insecurity and what Feeding America has been doing to tackle that. I learned more about what Feeding Tampa Bay has been doing locally and I just believe so much in the cause,” Big E explained to WFLA. I feel like so much of the community is ingrained in me and I feel like this community has really blessed me and it’s a huge part of me… so much of my journey is tied to this city and I felt a need to do something to give back to my city as well.”

WWE wrestler Ettore Big E Ewen is auctioning off the gear he wore at Wrestlemania and will donate the proceeds to Feeding Tampa Bay.

Ewen is auctioning off two signed jackets he wore during the big night on Ebay. The current bids for both items are over $1,000.

As the Tampa Bay area continues to rebound from the pandemic, Feeding Tampa Bay is celebrating the first anniversary of their Mega Pantries.
âWe saw about 375,000 folks across our 10 counties. Thatâs just in the mega pantries alone,â said Thomas Mantz, the CEO of Feeding Tampa Bay.
âTodayâs an emotional day for me,â said Chris Brewer.
Brewer is the director of distribution for FTB. Before that, he was one of the hundreds of volunteers who gave up their Saturdays and risked their lives to feed hungry families.

TAMPA, Fla. â Feeding Tampa Bay is teaming up with the Hillsborough Community College NEST project to help feed students in the West Tampa community. So, NEST stands for nourishment, education and social terraces. And that first word nourishment is inspired by the need for food relief resources for our students, but also in the Tampa Bay area, explains Amanda Poss with Hillsborough Community College.
The project helps students get access to things like plants, that offer sustainable food. Partnering with Feeding Tampa Bay also allows those get access to recipes, additional resources like SNAP and other opportunities that Feeding Tampa Bay Offers.
