PM Imran Khan to discuss placing Shahbaz Sharif on ECL in meeting tomorrow

Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over a meeting of the government and party members on Monday, May 17.
During the meeting, the issue of placing Shahbaz Sharif s name on the ECL will come under discussion.
Sheikh Rasheed says Shahbaz has no other option but to try to run away from country as the government has evidence against him.
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will convene a meeting of the party and government members on Monday afternoon, May 17, at the Prime Minister s House to discuss several important issues concerning the political environment in the country.

Islamabad [Pakistan], May 14 (ANI): The Pakistani Interior Ministry has been directed to add opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif to the country s Exit Control List (ECL) after the approval from the Federal Cabinet on Thursday.
Sources told Geo News that the ministers gave go ahead through a circulation summary on the request of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). A sub-committee of the federal cabinet had recommended including Shahbaz in the ECL.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad to announce the development on Wednesday, Minister for Interior Shaikh Rasheed had said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president may petition for a review of the decision within 15 days.

NAB had requested the government to place the PML-N leader on the no-fly list.
Shehbaz was stopped from flying abroad last week.
