Governor Spencer Cox says there are some things in President Joe Biden’s proposal to improve the nation’s infrastructure, but he’s not on board with everything. Asked during a Thursday appearance on CNN what parts of Biden’s proposal he could get behind, Cox rattled off a few things he would support.

Lee: Mask mandates for young children reflect “real hubris”
Sen. Mike Lee teed off on the CDC guidance that children as young as two years old wear masks to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, saying whoever came up with the mandate has not spent much time with children.”
“We have these guidance documents in place directing people to put masks on children when our peer nations all over the world have set it much, much higher,” said Lee on Fox News.

UTAH COUNTY â A new member of the Utah County Commission was chosen Saturday.
In a special election, Utah County Clerk/Auditor Amelia Powers Gardner was selected by Utah County Republican Party delegates to fill the vacant seat left by former Commissioner Tanner Ainge.
Ainge
announced his resignation last month after learning that his Utah National Guard training would create a temporary vacancy on the commission. He intended to continue to perform his commission duties remotely, but he failed to file a notice required by state law that would have allowed him to do so. Ainge was also appointed as a board member of the Utah Governorâs Office of Economic Development the same day he announced his resignation.
