Volkswagen will not be changing the name of its U.S. operations to Voltswagen of America after all.
The news, which appeared to leak out on its U.S. media site March 29 and was formally announced in a press release March 30, was part of an elaborate April Fools’ Day joke, the company confirmed in a statement later March 30.

North Carolina Farm Bureau was ranked first in the nation for ensuring quality repairs and customer service for their automobile insurance policyholders, according to
CRASH Network s 2021 Best Auto Insurers By National Grade Report Card.
This was the third survey of its kind completed by CRASH Network, and North Carolina Farm Bureau has earned an A+ rating and the top position in each of them.
For 2021, North Carolina Farm Bureau was the only company to earn an A+. The average grade of the 75 companies included in the survey results was a B-.

With an average annual premium of $427, Nebraska motorists pay the ninth-lowest car insurance rates in the country.
That s according to a new analysis by
Wallethub, which compared premiums across the U.S. based on certain criteria.
WalletHub compared full coverage rates for policies that include collision and comprehensive coverage with a $500 deductible, $100,000 in bodily injury liability coverage per person (up to $300,000 per accident), $50,000 of property damage liability coverage per accident, $100,000 in uninsured motorist bodily injury coverage per person (up to $300,000 per accident), and $50,000 in uninsured motorist property damage coverage per accident, the consumer finance website said of its analysis.
