Now, there’s one more reason to get into exercise as free access to top Dubai gyms will be granted to Dubai residents who have had both doses of their Covid-19 vaccine. The initiative, launched with the hashtag #EveryoneResponsibleForEveryone, was introduced today, May 2 by The Dubai Sports Council. Dubai residents who have had both doses of the vaccine can visit top gyms such as Gold’s Gym, Fitness First, The Warehouse, Fitness 360, The Sevens, Just Play, and Zabeel Ladies Club.

V12 Vehicle Finance has announced the appointment of David Nield as its new managing director. In his new role, Nield takes over leadership of the vehicle finance business, working closely with Secure Trust Bank’s board as the company accelerates its growth ambitions. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the finance industry to his new role, having held senior positions at Barclays, Iveco Capital Europe and GE Capital Motor Finance. Nield was formerly Secure Trust Bank’s chief operating officer, a role he held for eight years, and has been part of Secure Trust Bank and its subsidiaries (the Group) since July 2009.

Cazoo appoints former Ocado, Fitness First and Virgin CFO in two board additions

5 people found this useful Cazoo has appointed former Ocado chief financial officer Duncan Tatton-Brown and 23andMe founder and chief executive Anne Wojcicki to its board ahead of its £5bn public offering on the New York Stock Exchange. The online car retail and vehicle subscription business, which announced its Q3 listing last month, will add both Tatton-Brown and Wojcicki as non-executive directors following the completion of its of a business combination with AJAX I. Tatton-Brown, who will become senior independent director and audit committee chair at Cazoo, was most recently CFO of Ocado Group PLC from 2012 until 2020, where he remains a senior advisor to the board, and has also held CFO roles at PLCs Fitness First, Kingfisher, B&Q and Virgin Entertainment Group.
