A drink driver who was involved in a crash was one of four people to be arrested for drink driving in Leamington and Warwick over the weekend.

- A 40-year-old woman from Warwick was arrested and charged with drink driving after being stopped with two flat tyres in Myton Road, Warwick on Friday evening. She will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on June 4.

Police arrested six suspected drink-drivers across Warwickshire in just 72 hours.
Warwickshire Police has listed all of the suspects they arrested on suspicion of drink -driving and other offences across the county.
Oxford Magistrates Court OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT JOAN BENNETT, 79, of Fairmile, Henley-on-Thames, admitted driving at 50mph in a 30mph zone on Beggarsbush Hill, Benson, on February 13. She was fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with four penalty points. BARTLOMIEJ ZIELINSKI, 28, of Humber Close, Didcot, admitted driving at 64mph in a 30mph zone on Bessel’s Way, Blewbury, on February 24. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £90. He was also disqualified from driving for 35 days. IAN BOUND, 35, of Bagley Close, Kennington, admitted harassment by breach of a restraining order on March 17. He was fined £50, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.
