Une remorque de tracteur transformée en scène, une tranchée et des cabines en contreplaqué faisant office de toilettes, une buvette de 100 m de long aménagée à partir de caisses de patates retournées… Plutôt roots, la première édition d’Elixir, les 14 et 15 juillet 1979, à Irvillac (29), au sud de Landerneau (29). « Mais l’ambiance était extraordinaire, et je garde vraiment un souvenir ému de ces agriculteurs qui ont réussi à monter ce festival convivial et champêtre », se souvient Dan ar Braz, à l’affiche du premier Elixir, aux côtés de John Martyn, Clannad, Gwendal…
